ALL ABOUT OAKRIDGE- Oakridge is a mid-sized town of around 150,000 people.
- It is located somewhere north east in the United States of America.
- It experiences all the seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter) in the typical North American fashion.
- All seasons are mild and comfortable excluding winter. Winter is harsh, bitter, and cold, and sometimes hard to survive for a stray.
- In a poll taken, around 50% of the population doesn't mind stray cats and 20% of this 50% notes that they will often leave food out. The other 50% will call Animal Control if a stray is spotted in their yard or in the garbage.
- The Animal Control Force is noted for being rather lazy and dumb, and half the time will not respond to calls.
- The stray dog population is not too high, but most of them are vicious and rabid. Animal Control is working hard (for once) about getting them taken care of. Cats beware!
- Although the seasons can obviously not be predicted, this is usually how they play out:
Winter: Cold, harsh, almost unbearable. Temperatures ranging from -5° F to 27° F. Snow is often, and usually heavy.
Spring: Still chill, but bearable. Temperatures usually average around 30°, 40°, or 50° F. Snow is seldom but not heavy. Blizzards rare. Things start to blossom and come to life.
Summer: Mildly hot. Thunderstorms common in the evenings. Temperatures can soar up into the 90s°, but usually hunker around 70°-80° F. Human activity is HIGH.
Fall: Probably the most enjoyable of all seasons. Winds are blustery and common. Temperatures meander through the 50s° and 60s°, sometimes plummeting to the 40s° or rising to the 70s°. Typically dry.
