Ahh, character creation. Sometimes the most difficult part about joining a site! Oh, who am I kidding - it IS the most difficult part about joining a site! Well, here on FA, we want to make sure it isn't the most difficult part, and in fact, is rather enjoyable.

This step-by-step guide will really help you if you're unsure about how you want to make your character, or if you just don't know how. Don't worry, even the most advanced of roleplayers have been there once, m'dear! So sit back, relax, and let Arrow show you how it's done!

(For experienced roleplayers, I suggest you skip on through to the Creation Process.)

So, first thing first, here is an example of the template you will be working with!

Name: The name of your cat!
Age: His or her age (0-10).
Gender: Male, or female!
Sexuality: Straight, bisexual, or homosexual.
Breed: There's a LOT to choose from.
Coat Pattern/Color: Self-explanatory.
Eye Color: Your cat's eye can be ANY color! <3
Unique Marks/Scars: Any distinguishing marks or scars?
Origin: Domestic, or born a stray?

History: Wrap up your cat's past for us, please!

Favorite Color: Your cat's favorite color!
Favorite Food: His or her favorite thing to munch!
Something He or She Despises: What is something your cat HATES?

Great, so you can see our form is not hard to fill out but contains a lot of detail so other members of the site can really get to know your character. First, let's start out with picking a name for our cat!

#1 - Selecting a Name: So, first things first, let's picka a name for our beast! If you choose to do this later in time, you can always go back, but I like to choose a name first. A good site for names is www.babynames.com/ because they have THOUSANDS!

So, for my whiskered friend, I choose the name Albany (hey, maybe his former owners were from Alabama?). So, now my form looks like this:

Name: Albany

#2 - Selecting the Age: Well, I want my character to be young and inexperienced, but I still want him to be sexually mature so kits are a possibility! I choose 2 as his age.

Name: Albany
Age: 2

#3 - Choosing the Gender: Now we pick the gender of our character! Easy. Boy name, boy organs. I pick male!

Name: Albany
Age: 2
Gender: Male

#4 - Sweet Sexuality: This is entirely up to you and will make an impact on your cat's personality altogether. It's pretty simple. Do you want your cat straight, and one day having kittens? Confused with his or herself and bisexual? Or leading the sometimes hard-to-accept life of homosexuality? The choice is yours, but the love is all the same. For Albany, I'm going to make him straight.
